Luxor: temples, royal tombs and a balloon
Many guests in Safaga come for the reefs and the wind, yet one day of ancient history is hard to skip. In Luxor, once called Thebes, an Egyptologist leads you through the vast Karnak complex and Hatshepsut's temple, past the Colossi of Memnon, and into either the royal tombs of the Kings or those of the Queens. Lunch is included. Go on the classic trip, in a mini group of max. 6 guests, or start the day in a hot air balloon at sunrise.
