Makadi Bay lies on Egypt's Red Sea coast, about 30 km south of Hurghada and roughly midway between Hurghada and Safaga. Life here moves at a slower pace than in Hurghada: large beach resorts, sandy beaches, clear water and coral reefs just off the shore.
