Super Desert Safari: Quad, Buggy, Jeep & Dinner – Makadi Bay

If you want to try every desert vehicle in one trip, this is the safari for you. Guests from Makadi Bay ride a quad bike, a dune buggy and a 4x4 Jeep, visit a Bedouin village and stay on for dinner and a show.

The safari runs every day from about 13:00 and lasts around 6 to 7 hours in total. We pick you up at your hotel in Makadi Bay in an air-conditioned vehicle and drive you to the safari station for a safety talk and your safety gear.

You start on a quad over golden desert trails. Next, a buggy ride on the dunes adds even more fun. Then your professional safari guide takes you by 4x4 Jeep deeper into the desert, to a traditional Bedouin village.

In the village, take a camel ride, sip Bedouin tea and get a feel for Bedouin life. When evening falls, sit down to a desert BBQ dinner and watch an Oriental show. One bottle of water and one soft drink are included. Extra drinks, scarf and goggles, photos and tips are not.

Quad choice: a single quad means your own bike for the whole safari; a double quad means two guests on one bike, a good fit for 1 adult riding with 1 child.

Good to know: pack your passport or a photo ID, closed shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a scarf for the dust and a light jacket in winter. Drivers need to meet the minimum age rules, and children follow the age rules of each activity.
