Quad Safari with BBQ Dinner & Oriental Show – Makadi Bay

Spend the afternoon riding through the sand and the evening at a desert dinner. This quad safari for guests staying in Makadi Bay mixes adventure and entertainment, and it works well for friends, couples and families.

The trip runs daily from about 13:00, and you should plan about 6 hours in total. After we pick you up at your hotel in Makadi Bay, an air-conditioned vehicle takes you out to the safari station for a safety talk and your safety gear.

With a professional safari guide in front, you ride your quad around 50 km in total, half of it out and half of it back. The Red Sea Mountains rise all around you, and there are stops for photos.

At the Bedouin village, climb onto a camel for a short ride, drink Bedouin tea and learn how people live in the desert. As evening comes, a BBQ dinner is served in a traditional setting, and an Oriental show follows. One bottle of water and one soft drink are included.

Extra drinks, photos, scarf, goggles and tips are not.

Quad choice: a single quad is your own bike for the whole ride, while a double quad lets two guests share, a good fit for 1 adult riding with 1 child.

Good to know: pack your passport or a photo ID, closed shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a scarf to keep out the dust. In winter, a light jacket helps in the evening.
