Ozirea Island Boat Trip – Makadi Bay

Staying in Makadi Bay and looking for a new island to explore? This shared boat trip takes you to Ozirea, one of the latest island spots on the Red Sea, for a calm cruise, a guided snorkeling stop and free time ashore. Kids can join, but they must stay with their parents.

Your day begins with pickup at your hotel in Makadi Bay. Like most of our boat trips, this one sails from the marina in Hurghada, about 30 km north, so our driver takes you there first. The boat starts at about 09:00, the trip runs every day and it lasts about 8 hours. Times can shift a little with the daily schedule.

Out at sea, a guide leads you into the clear water to snorkel over coral and look for reef fish. We provide the gear. If the weather or the sea is rough, this stop may not be possible.

Then it is island time: take a sun lounger, go for a swim or simply enjoy the sun.

Two options are available. The basic Ozirea Island Day covers the boat, the guided snorkeling and the loungers, with no lunch or drinks. The Lunch & Pool version adds a buffet lunch, water and soft drinks with that meal, and entry to the infinity pool.

Other food and drinks, photos, videos, personal spending and tips are extra.

Good to know: pack a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel and swimwear, and keep a passport or ID with you for check-in. When the boat is back in Hurghada, we drive you home. We confirm your exact pickup time on WhatsApp or Telegram after you book.
