Orange Bay Snorkeling & Intro Dive – Makadi Bay

Ever wanted to try diving but never found the right moment? From Makadi Bay, this Orange Bay yacht day mixes island time and snorkeling with the chance of your very first dive. It suits beginners, couples and families.

We collect you at your hotel in Makadi Bay and drive you about 30 km north to the marina in Hurghada. The yacht sets off at about 08:00 every day, and the full trip lasts about 8 hours.

You can book it in two ways. With the Orange Bay Snorkeling Trip you get the island plus two reef stops. The Orange Bay Snorkeling & Intro Dive option also includes a first dive led by a professional instructor, and no experience is needed.

On Orange Bay, relax on soft sand by the turquoise sea. At the two coral reefs, colorful fish swim right below you. Both options include snorkeling gear and life jackets.

On board you get lunch, plus water, soft drinks, coffee and tea. Not included: sunscreen, beach towels, underwater photos and videos, and personal expenses. In the afternoon the yacht returns, and we drive you back to Makadi Bay.

Good to know: pack swimwear, sunscreen and a towel, and be able to swim a little. Follow all diving safety rules. Hurghada International Airport is the airport for Makadi Bay, so leave at least 24 hours between your dive and your flight home. Each activity has its own age rules for children.
