Dolphin House Snorkeling Trip – Makadi Bay

Wild dolphins in open water are one of the big wishes of many Red Sea holidays. From Makadi Bay, this yacht day takes you to Dolphin House, a reef area where dolphins often swim, and adds two snorkeling stops on the way.

We collect you from your hotel in Makadi Bay and drive you north to Hurghada, about 30 km up the coast, because the yacht leaves from the marina there. Departure is at about 08:00 every day, and the complete trip takes about 7 hours.

At Dolphin House, keep your eyes on the water. Your chances of meeting dolphins in their natural home are good, but they are wild animals, so no one can promise a sighting.

The day also brings two snorkeling stops at coral reefs, with colorful fish and soft coral below you. We provide the snorkeling gear, plus life jackets and safety equipment. Both stops work well for first-time snorkelers and for people with more experience.

A fresh lunch is served on board, and water, soft drinks, coffee and tea are available during the cruise. You pay yourself for underwater photos, beach towels and personal expenses. When the yacht is back at the marina, our driver takes you back to your hotel in Makadi Bay.
