Luxor Valley of the Kings Mini Group – Makadi Bay

Prefer a small group to a full coach? This Luxor trip from Makadi Bay keeps the number at 6 guests or fewer. You share the minibus with other travelers, so it is not private. It runs daily, and at least 2 guests are needed to book.

The air-conditioned minibus collects you at your hotel in Makadi Bay, and an Egyptologist guide is on board. Pickup times differ by hotel, and the whole day lasts about 15 hours.

First comes Karnak Temple, among the biggest religious sites built in ancient Egypt. On the West Bank of the Nile you then enter the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs lie in decorated tombs cut into the rock.

Your guide continues to Hatshepsut's temple below the Deir el-Bahari cliffs, and you pause for photos at the Colossi of Memnon. After the sightseeing, lunch is served at a local restaurant.

The package covers entrance tickets, lunch, water, cola, snacks, taxes and service charges, plus one shopping stop. Tutankhamun's tomb and other optional tombs need their own tickets, and additional drinks, photos and videos, personal expenses and tips are not included.
