Hurghada City Sightseeing Tour – Makadi Bay

Makadi Bay is all about quiet beach resorts. If you want to see how Egyptians live and shop, this guided tour takes you about 30 km north into Hurghada, the busy city next door. It is an easy, relaxed outing for all ages.

We pick you up at your hotel in Makadi Bay and drive you to Hurghada in an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional local guide. The guided tour runs every day, begins at about 17:00 and lasts about 3 hours. Afterwards we take you back to your hotel.

The first stop is Hurghada Marina, with its yachts, cafés and sea views. From there you visit El Mina Grand Mosque, one of the finest buildings in the city, and the historic Coptic Church, which shows the local mix of cultures.

Then it is time for local life. Stroll through the fruit and vegetable market and the fish market, where residents buy their food each day. At the shopping stop you have free time to look for souvenirs, spices and natural oils.

To finish, you stop at a panoramic viewpoint above the city and the Red Sea, a great spot for photos. Food and drinks, personal shopping, any entrance fees and tips are not part of the tour.
