Cairo Pyramids & Egyptian Museum by Bus – Makadi Bay

This classic Cairo day trip by bus takes guests from Makadi Bay to the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum and back in one day. It runs on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The day starts early with a pickup at your hotel in Makadi Bay. You ride in air-conditioned transport, and a professional Egyptologist guide is part of the team. Count on about 18 hours from pickup to drop-off.

Giza comes first. The Great Pyramids are the only wonder of the ancient world still standing, and close by you find the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Your guide shares the history while you take your photos.

After Giza you move on to the Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of objects and royal treasures from the age of the pharaohs. Lunch at a local restaurant and a panoramic tour of Cairo complete the program.

Your tickets for the Giza Pyramids area and the Egyptian Museum are covered, and so is lunch. Going inside the Great Pyramid and a Nile boat trip are optional extras, and personal expenses are your own.
