Away from the sea, the desert and the Red Sea Mountains wait for anyone who wants a change from the water. Each safari begins with a driver at your hotel in Safaga. The quad safari covers about 50 km on an automatic quad to a Bedouin village, while the Mega Desert Safari lets you try three vehicles: a quad, a two-seater buggy and a 4x4 Jeep. Guides start with a safety briefing, so beginners are welcome.
Some safaris run into the evening. The Super Desert Safari and the quad safari with dinner end with a BBQ dinner in a traditional setting and an Oriental show. The stargazing safari adds a Jeep ride and a professional telescope, so you can look at the night sky far from town lights. When the evening is over, the driver takes you back to Safaga.
Camel rides and Bedouin tea are part of every safari here. For a slower pace, the horse riding tour gives you about one hour on horseback, first along the beach and then on a desert trail with mountain views, with a riding guide and a helmet. Wear light clothes and closed shoes; a scarf and goggles are not included but help with the dust. Your pickup time is sent on WhatsApp or Telegram.
