Quad Bike Safari, Camel Ride & Bedouin Village – Safaga

This classic quad safari suits guests in Safaga who want a simple, fun taste of the desert. You drive your own automatic quad bike into the Red Sea Mountains, visit a Bedouin village and sit on a camel for a short ride.

Book any start time between 08:00 and 14:00, every day of the week. We collect you at your Safaga hotel and drive you in an air-conditioned vehicle to the safari station. The guides show you how the quads work, go through the safety rules and hand you a helmet.

In total you cover about 50 km: about 25 km out to the village and the same distance back. A professional guide rides in front, and the group stops for photos. The bikes are automatic, so first-timers manage well and experienced riders still have fun.

At the Bedouin village there is a short camel ride and a glass of Bedouin tea before you turn around. You get one bottle of water and one soft drink. Scarf, goggles, extra drinks and photos are extra.

Single quad: one rider per bike for the whole safari. Double quad: two people on one bike, which works well for 1 adult with 1 child.

Practical notes: the safari lasts about 3 hours, and the transfers come on top. Carry your passport or a photo ID, wear closed shoes and bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a scarf. Drivers must meet the minimum age rules. We do not recommend it for pregnant travelers.
