Mega Desert Safari: Quad, Buggy, Jeep & Camel – Safaga

Quad, buggy, Jeep and camel: four rides in a single trip. This mega safari is made for guests in Safaga who want to see as much of the desert as possible.

After pickup from your Safaga hotel, an air-conditioned car brings you to the safari station. Departures are daily at about 12:00, and the full trip lasts about 4 to 5 hours. The team gives you safety equipment and explains the rules first.

Your quad is automatic, so it is easy to handle. You ride it for about 40 to 45 minutes over the sand, with the Red Sea Mountains in front of you. A 15-minute spin in a two-seater dune buggy follows, which couples and families enjoy. Then a 4x4 Jeep takes you further into the desert.

The Jeep stops at a Bedouin village. There is time for a camel ride, and you are served Bedouin tea with freshly baked bread. Each guest gets one bottle of water and one soft drink. Not included: extra drinks, scarf and goggles, photos and tips.

Single or double? Book a single quad to drive alone for the whole safari, or a double quad to share one bike between two people, a nice choice for 1 adult with 1 child.
