Orange Bay Island

Why go to Orange Bay?

Why go to Orange Bay?

Even in Safaga, where many come to dive, people talk about Orange Bay. This island beach off Hurghada has soft white sand and a shallow turquoise lagoon that is perfect for floating, paddling and photos. It lies in the protected Giftun islands area, and most trips combine free time on the beach with snorkeling on nearby reefs. Your day begins when our driver picks you up in Safaga and takes you to the boat in Hurghada.

There are six ways to get there. The classic snorkeling yacht gives you one hour at Orange Bay and two reef stops. The Elite VIP boat has a spacious deck, and the pirate sailing boat is the family favorite. With the intro dive version, you can try a first dive with an instructor, no experience needed. The Orange Bay and Magawish trip adds a second island, and the private speed boat keeps the whole boat for your group.

Good to know

Good to know

Some things change from boat to boat. Snorkeling gear is included on the classic and intro dive trips, but not on the pirate and VIP boats, and on the private speed boat the Orange Bay entrance fee is paid in cash on site, with no food on board. Bring a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses. The time your driver reaches your Safaga hotel is sent on WhatsApp or Telegram.
