Orange Bay & Magawish Island Boat Trip – Safaga

If one island is not enough, this boat trip for guests in Safaga covers two: Orange Bay and Magawish Island, both much-loved Red Sea islands. A snorkeling stop on a coral reef sits between them.

We collect you at your hotel in Safaga and drive you to the marina in Hurghada. The boat leaves at about 08:00 and follows the coast. It sails every day, and the full day takes about 8 hours.

Orange Bay is all white sand, a shallow turquoise lagoon and great places for photos. Magawish feels quieter, with clear water and sandy beaches well away from the busy mainland.

Somewhere between the two islands, you get into the water at a coral reef to see colorful sea life. The gear is provided and life jackets are kept on board. Whether you can snorkel on the day depends on the weather and the sea.

Lunch, water and soft drinks are served on the boat, and the island entrance fees are already covered. A professional crew is with you from start to end. Photos and videos, tips and personal spending are not included. At the end, we drive you back to Safaga.

Good to know: the boat schedule and the sea decide the order of the islands, the reef stop and lunch, so it may change. Pack swimwear, sunglasses, sunscreen and a towel. Once you have booked, we send your exact pickup time on WhatsApp or Telegram; it depends on your hotel.
