Mahmya Island Snorkeling Trip – Safaga

Mahmya counts among the Red Sea's most exclusive islands. With this yacht day, guests staying in Safaga can enjoy it without any planning, and children are welcome too.

We start with a pickup at your Safaga hotel and a drive north to Hurghada. At the marina, a comfortable yacht with a sun deck is ready, and it leaves at about 08:00. Trips run every day, and you are out for about 7 hours in total.

What makes Mahmya special is its calm. It sits inside the protected Giftun islands area, and the beach is white and sandy. You have an hour ashore to swim in turquoise water and soak up the sun. Island entry is included, and your lunch is served right there on Mahmya.

The yacht also anchors twice at coral reefs so you can snorkel among colorful fish and coral gardens. Gear is included, and the reefs work for first-timers and experienced snorkelers alike.

Tea, coffee, water and soft drinks are on hand all day, with a professional crew and safety equipment on board. Extras such as underwater photos, beach towels and personal spending are not included. After the trip, our driver takes you back to Safaga.
