Kings or Queens?
From the Red Sea at Safaga, Luxor is the classic history day. Four of the trips here follow the same route: the huge Karnak Temple, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon. What you choose is the valley: the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were laid to rest, or the Valley of the Queens, the burial place of royal wives and princes. Luxor, the ancient Thebes, is a place most visitors never forget.
