Luxor Sunrise Balloon, Kings & Temples – Safaga

Few holiday mornings feel like this one: the sky over ancient Thebes turns gold while your balloon rises above the Nile. This Luxor trip for Safaga guests mixes that flight with the great tombs and temples. It runs every day, from 2 participants.

Sunrise sets the timetable, so we collect you from your Safaga hotel very early, in the middle of the night. Plan for about 16 hours in total. Snacks, water and cola are provided.

You share the basket with other guests. Below you lie the river, the temple ruins and the desert mountains. In Luxor, a shared flight normally stays up for about 30 to 45 minutes; weather and operating conditions decide the exact length.

After the landing, an Egyptologist leads you across the West Bank to the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings and to the temple of Hatshepsut. Lunch follows, and the sightseeing ends at the vast Karnak complex.

Your tickets for Karnak, Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings come with the trip. Optional tombs, additional drinks, photos and tips are not included.

Good to know: the balloon can only take off when weather and safety allow, big bags may have to stay on the ground, and the visit order can change. After the visits, we drive you back to your hotel in Safaga. Your exact pickup time arrives on WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
