Sea Scope Semi-Submarine & Snorkeling – Soma Bay

See the reefs of the Red Sea through big windows below the surface: that is the Sea Scope semi-submarine, a relaxed outing for guests staying in Soma Bay. Families, children and anyone who does not swim will feel at home on board.

We pick you up at your hotel in Soma Bay and drive you north to Hurghada. The Sea Scope sails from the marina there, as most of our boat trips do. It runs daily, the boat starts at about 10:00, and the trip lasts about 3 hours.

Inside, you sit in a viewing deck under the water line and watch coral, fish and other sea life swim past the panoramic glass. Note that this is a semi-submarine: the boat itself never goes under, so you stay dry the whole time.

There is also a stop in clear water for snorkeling. Jump in if you want to get closer to the coral and fish; the team on board can help you. If you prefer, simply stay inside and keep watching. Then the boat cruises back along the coast.

Photos or videos are an optional extra. Personal spending is not covered. At the end, our driver takes you back to your Soma Bay hotel.

Tips: swimwear and a towel are only needed if you want to snorkel. Beach shoes and a light cover-up are handy. Share a valid phone number and email, and your exact pickup time arrives on WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
