Orange Bay & Magawish Island Boat Trip – Soma Bay

Can't choose between two famous islands? With this boat day you do not have to. Guests from Soma Bay visit Orange Bay and Magawish Island together, with a reef snorkeling stop in between.

Our driver collects you at your Soma Bay hotel and heads north to the marina in Hurghada, the departure point for most of our island trips. The boat then cruises along the coast. It goes out every day at about 08:00, and the full day lasts about 8 hours.

Orange Bay is a picture-perfect place: white sand, a shallow turquoise lagoon and plenty of photo spots. Magawish Island is quieter and far from the busy mainland, with clear water and sandy beaches. You get time to relax at each.

Between the islands, the boat stops at a coral reef full of colorful marine life. The gear for snorkeling is provided and life jackets are available, but swimming at the reef always depends on the weather and the sea on the day.

Lunch is served on the boat with water and soft drinks, a professional crew looks after you, and the entrance fees for the islands are covered. Photos and videos, tips and your own spending are extra. At the end, the driver takes you back to Soma Bay.

Good to know: the boat schedule and sea conditions can change the order of the islands, the snorkeling stop and lunch. Pack swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses and a towel. The exact pickup time depends on your hotel, and we send it by WhatsApp or Telegram after you book.
