Hula Hula Island Snorkeling Trip – Soma Bay

A sandy island, two reef stops with a guide and a buffet lunch: that is the recipe for this easy yacht day, loved by families, couples and groups of friends staying in Soma Bay.

Getting there is simple. Our driver picks you up at your Soma Bay hotel and drives up the coast to the marina in Hurghada, the home port of most of our boats. A comfortable yacht with a sun deck carries you out to Hula Hula Island. It sails every day at about 08:00, and the full outing lasts about 8 hours.

Ashore you have one hour. Paddle in the turquoise shallows, stretch out on the sand or collect photos for home. Your entry to Hula Hula Island is covered.

The real bonus is the snorkeling guide. Your guide joins you at both coral reefs and points out the colorful fish and coral. The gear comes with the trip, life jackets are ready on board, and the spots work for newcomers as well as for confident snorkelers.

When everyone is back on deck, a fresh buffet lunch is served, and the soft drinks are unlimited. Not covered: underwater photos and videos, beach towels, sunscreen and your own spending. The yacht then sails back to Hurghada, and the driver returns you to Soma Bay.
