Makadi Water World Aqua Park Day – Soma Bay

Need a break from the beach? Makadi Water World, one of the biggest water parks in Egypt, lies in Makadi Bay, on the coast between Soma Bay and Hurghada. This day trip from Soma Bay suits families, groups of friends and couples who want speed, splashes and fun.

The day starts at about 10:00, runs daily and lasts around 8 hours, which is plenty of time on the rides. Our driver picks you up from your Soma Bay hotel, takes you to the park and later brings you home.

Your ticket opens every one of the more than 50 slides and attractions, as often as you like. There are steep, fast slides, tunnels that twist and turn, pools with waves, slow lazy rivers for floating and splash zones built for small kids.

Lunch inside the park is covered, and so are soft drinks. Sunbeds are free to use whenever your legs need a rest.

Bring a towel with you, because towels are not supplied. Locker hire and your own spending are extra too.

Good to know: pack swimwear, flip-flops, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Kids need to follow the park rules for safety, and a few slides have a minimum height, but the splash zones are perfect for little ones.
