A shared minibus with air conditioning picks you up at your Soma Bay hotel, and your professional Egyptologist is on board from the start. The pickup time varies with your hotel's location.

Luxor was built where ancient Thebes once stood. You begin at the Karnak Temple Complex, a maze of giant columns and open courts. Next is Hatshepsut's temple below the Deir el-Bahari cliffs, built for one of the most remarkable women ever to rule Egypt as pharaoh.

In the Valley of the Queens, queens, princes and other royals rest in richly decorated tombs. After that, you pause for photos at the Colossi of Memnon and sit down for lunch in a local restaurant.

Practical tips: you share this tour with other guests, and the order of the visits may change. Good walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are essential. You return to Soma Bay in the evening, and your pickup time is sent on WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
