Eden Island Snorkeling Trip – Soma Bay

Families on holiday in Soma Bay often ask us for a gentle sea day that kids enjoy as much as grown-ups. A trip to Eden Island fits that wish well: easy yacht cruising, a beach lunch on the island and two coral reef stops.

Here is the plan. A driver meets you at your hotel in Soma Bay and takes you along the coast to the marina in Hurghada, the base for most of our boat trips. You climb aboard a comfortable yacht that sails every day from about 08:00; from pickup to drop-off, the outing lasts about 8 hours.

Eden Island is where lunch happens. You have one hour ashore, with sand under your feet and turquoise water in front of you, and entry to the island is already covered.

Snorkeling comes in two parts, at two separate coral reefs, with colorful fish and coral gardens below you. Gear is handed out on board, and both spots work for beginners and for confident snorkelers.

All day the professional crew keeps water, soft drinks, coffee and tea ready, and safety equipment is on board. Not part of the package: underwater photos, beach towels, sunscreen and your own spending. Back in Hurghada, our driver brings you straight to your Soma Bay hotel.

Good to know: a passport or a copy is useful, as the port may check it. Pack swimwear, a towel and sunscreen, and wear beach shoes. Kids get life jackets on board. Leave us a working phone number and email, and we send the exact pickup time by WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
