Grand Egyptian Museum & Pyramids by Bus – Sahl Hasheesh

Old wonders and a brand-new museum: on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, this bus trip takes guests from Sahl Hasheesh to Cairo to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza.

We collect you at your hotel, and an Egyptologist stays at your side for the whole day. You travel in air-conditioned transport. Because Cairo is far away, the full trip takes about 18 hours.

Close to the Giza Plateau, the GEM shows royal statues and ancient treasures in a modern building. It ranks among the most impressive archaeology museums anywhere.

From the museum you move on to the Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Your guide explains their history while you take your photos. A panoramic tour of Cairo and lunch at a local restaurant fill the rest of the day.

Lunch and your tickets for the museum and the Giza Pyramids area come with the trip. A visit inside the pyramids, the optional Nile boat ride and personal spending are extra.
