Cairo by Plane: Pyramids & Egyptian Museum – Sahl Hasheesh

Skip the long road. This daily tour from Sahl Hasheesh uses a domestic flight, so you reach Cairo fast and have more hours for the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Plan on about 16 hours for the full day.

Your driver collects you at the hotel and takes you to Hurghada International Airport, which lies about 18 km north of Sahl Hasheesh. Once you land in Cairo, an Egyptologist and a private air-conditioned car are ready for you.

At Giza, walk between the pyramids built for Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Together they are the one wonder of the ancient world that still survives. Your guide also takes you to the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Lunch is in a local Egyptian restaurant. The afternoon belongs to the Egyptian Museum, with royal treasures, statues and archaeological finds.

The package covers both flights, the airport transfers, lunch, bottled water and your tickets for the Giza Pyramids area and the museum. A ticket into the Great Pyramid, drinks at lunch and tips are not part of it.
