Cairo Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Mini Group – Sahl Hasheesh

Sahl Hasheesh is a calm place to relax, but Cairo is the place to meet the pharaohs. This day trip runs every day, and you share a modern air-conditioned minivan with no more than 6 guests, so the day feels personal and unhurried.

An Egyptologist joins you from the start, after we collect you at your Sahl Hasheesh hotel. Expect a very long day on the road and in the city: the tour lasts about 18 hours in total, and you get back to your room in the evening.

Giza comes first. Stand at the foot of the Great Pyramids, look up at the Great Sphinx and hear what your guide knows about these giants on the edge of Cairo.

Later, the Egyptian Museum opens a world of ancient treasures and royal artifacts. A panoramic drive across Cairo and a meal at a local restaurant are also on the plan. With only a handful of guests, there is always time for your questions.

Tickets for the Giza Pyramids area and the museum come with the trip, and lunch too. Not included are a ticket to go inside the Great Pyramid, the optional Nile boat trip and personal expenses.

Practical tips: your passport and Egyptian visa must come with you. Comfortable shoes help with the moderate walking, and sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat protect you from the sun. After you book, we send the exact pickup time by WhatsApp or Telegram.
