We collect you from your hotel in Makadi Bay in a modern minivan with air conditioning, and your Egyptologist guide travels with you. The road to Cairo is long, and the full day lasts about 18 hours.

First stop is the Giza Plateau. Here you walk around the Great Pyramids and meet the Great Sphinx face to face, while your guide tells you their story. Your entrance ticket to the Pyramids area is already included.

Next comes the Egyptian Museum, where the halls are full of ancient treasures and royal objects. Its ticket is also included. Afterwards you sit down for lunch at a local restaurant and see the streets of Cairo on a panoramic drive.

In a group this small, asking questions is easy, and nobody gets lost in the crowd. Optional extras, not included: a ticket to go inside the Great Pyramid and a Nile boat trip. Your personal spending is also not covered.

Good to know: carry your passport with your Egyptian visa. Pack comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat, as there is moderate walking. You are back at your Makadi Bay hotel in the evening, and your exact pickup time reaches you on WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
