Luxor Valley of the Queens Mini Group – El Gouna

Who were the queens of ancient Egypt? Find out on this mini-group day trip from El Gouna to Luxor, where the group never has more than 6 guests. The tour is shared, not private. It runs every day, needs a minimum booking of 2 guests and lasts about 15 hours.

We collect you at your hotel in El Gouna in a shared minibus with air conditioning, and your professional Egyptologist guide travels with the group. Pickup times depend on your hotel's location.

Ancient Thebes once stood where Luxor is today. The Karnak Temple Complex, with its vast courtyards and columns, is your first visit. Next is the temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built for one of Egypt's most remarkable female pharaohs.

Then step into the Valley of the Queens. Royal wives, princes and other members of the pharaohs' families were buried here in finely decorated tombs. A photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon comes before lunch at a local restaurant.

Included are your entry tickets, lunch, cola, water, snacks, taxes and service charges, and the program has one shopping stop. Not included: optional tombs, extra drinks, photos and videos, tips and personal expenses.

Good to know: comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat are useful. The order of the visits may change. In the evening, the minibus brings you back to your El Gouna hotel, and your exact pickup time is sent on WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
