Grand Egyptian Museum & Pyramids Mini Group – El Gouna

Two of Egypt's great sights, one calm day: this mini-group trip takes guests from El Gouna to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids. There are never more than 6 guests, and the trip runs daily.

The day begins with pickup at your hotel in El Gouna. A modern air-conditioned minivan carries the small group to Cairo, and you are back at your hotel in the evening. The road is long, and the full day takes about 18 hours.

Your first stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). It is the world's largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization, filled with royal statues and remarkable artifacts. Because the group is small, nobody rushes you.

From the museum, your professional Egyptologist guide leads you to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Afterwards, you sit down for lunch at a local restaurant and see more of the capital on a panoramic tour of Cairo.

Your GEM and Giza Pyramids area tickets are part of the trip. Going inside the pyramids is not included, the Nile boat trip is optional, and personal expenses are not covered.

Good to know: there is moderate walking, so wear comfortable shoes and bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat and your passport with your Egyptian visa. Your exact pickup time depends on your hotel and is confirmed on WhatsApp or Telegram after booking.
