Our driver picks you up at your El Gouna hotel and takes you to Hurghada International Airport, about 25 km away. After the domestic flight, a licensed Egyptologist meets you in Cairo with a private, air-conditioned vehicle.

Giza is the first stop. Here you see the pyramids of the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the only ancient wonder still standing, as well as the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Lunch is at a local Egyptian restaurant. In the afternoon, you explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, among the biggest museums anywhere devoted to one civilization and full of the treasures of the pharaohs.
