Luxor Valley of the Kings Day Trip – El Gouna

Luxor holds some of the most famous monuments of the pharaohs, and this day trip brings guests from El Gouna to see them with an expert. You can join on four days: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.

We pick you up at your hotel in El Gouna. Air-conditioned transport carries the group to Luxor, and a professional Egyptologist makes the history easy to follow. The full day lasts about 15 hours.

Karnak Temple opens the visit. Its towering columns and sacred lake belong to one of the biggest religious sites ever built. Then you see Queen Hatshepsut's temple, set below the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari.

Across the river, on the West Bank, the New Kingdom pharaohs were buried in the Valley of the Kings, and you walk into some of its painted tombs. The Colossi of Memnon, two huge statues more than 3,000 years old, are a photo stop, and a panoramic tour shows you more of Luxor.

Lunch at a local restaurant is included, along with entry to Karnak, Hatshepsut Temple and the Valley of the Kings. For Tutankhamun's tomb and the Tomb of Ramses V and VI, you need optional tickets. Lunch drinks, tips and personal expenses are not included.

Good to know: there is moderate walking, so take walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat, plus your passport with your Egyptian visa. In the evening, you are back at your El Gouna hotel. Once you have booked, we confirm the exact pickup time on WhatsApp or Telegram.
