Quad Bike Safari, Camel Ride & Bedouin Village – Sahl Hasheesh

Want a real taste of the desert during your stay in Sahl Hasheesh? This classic trip puts you on an automatic quad bike, takes you to a Bedouin village, and adds a camel ride and tea along the way.

Book any slot from 08:00 to 14:00, any day. An air-conditioned car fetches you at your hotel in Sahl Hasheesh and takes you to the starting point in the desert. The guides show you how the quad works, go over the safety rules and hand you a helmet.

Off you go behind your professional guide. The route covers about 50 km of desert track, roughly 25 km to the village and 25 km back, between the peaks of the Red Sea range. It is easy enough for newcomers and still fun if you have ridden before, with stops for photos.

At the far end waits a Bedouin village. You take a short ride on a camel and drink a glass of Bedouin tea, then ride back. One bottle of water and one soft drink come with the trip, while the scarf, goggles, extra drinks and photos do not.

Riding alone or as a pair? A single quad gives you your own bike. A double quad is shared by two people, ideal for 1 adult with 1 child.

Good to know: the time in the desert is about 3 hours, and transfers come on top. Carry a passport or photo ID, wear closed shoes and pack sunglasses, sunscreen and a scarf. Drivers must meet minimum age rules, and we do not recommend this trip during pregnancy.
