Horse Riding by the Sea & Desert – Sahl Hasheesh

Few things feel as free as a horse at a slow trot by the water. On this ride for guests in Sahl Hasheesh, you follow the Red Sea shore and then head into the open desert, with the mountains on the horizon. You do not need to be an expert rider.

Choose a start at around 11:00, 12:00 or 15:00, on any day. We collect you from your hotel in Sahl Hasheesh in an air-conditioned vehicle and drive you to the stables. The whole trip takes about 2 to 3 hours.

The team at the stables gets you ready with a short safety talk, a helmet and the rest of the riding gear. Each guest is matched with a well-trained horse.

The ride itself lasts about an hour. An experienced guide leads the group over the sand at the edge of the sea, then away from the coast into the desert. There are pauses for pictures along the way.

Not part of the trip: food, drinks, professional photos, riding clothes, personal spending and tips.

Good to know: beginners are welcome and the guide never leaves your side. Children can ride with supervision.
