Two very different dolphin days are possible from Soma Bay. The first is at sea: a yacht from the marina in Hurghada heads to Dolphin House, a reef area where wild dolphins often swim. You snorkel at two coral reefs, eat lunch on board and keep watch for fins. Our driver handles the road from your hotel to the marina and back, and a private speed boat to the same spot is there for groups.
The second is on land, at Dolphin World in Hurghada. Families watch dolphins and walruses perform in a modern indoor arena, and the other ticket adds a swim with the dolphins, with professional trainers and a safety talk first. Both include the entrance ticket and the ride from and back to your Soma Bay hotel.
At Dolphin House, sightings are likely but never certain, as the dolphins are wild and free. In the water, keep your distance and do not touch or chase them.
