Sea Scope Semi-Submarine & Snorkeling – Makadi Bay

The Sea Scope is a semi-submarine that lets you look into the Red Sea from below the surface. For guests in Makadi Bay, it is a fun outing for kids, parents, non-swimmers and anybody curious about coral reefs.

This boat sails along the Hurghada coast, so we pick you up at your hotel in Makadi Bay and drive you north to the marina in Hurghada. It runs every day, begins at about 10:00 and lasts about 3 hours.

Inside, take a seat on the viewing deck below the water line. Big panoramic windows show the reef, the fish and other sea life right in front of you.

Don't worry, it is not a real submarine. The boat never dives, and you can stay dry the whole time. Later, it stops in clear water for snorkeling, so you can see the coral up close if you like. Snorkeling is optional, and the team on board can help you.

After the cruise, the boat returns to the marina and we drive you back to your hotel in Makadi Bay. Photos or videos are optional extras, and personal spending is not included.
