Eden Island Snorkeling Trip – Makadi Bay

Eden Island is a relaxed choice for families staying in Makadi Bay. This full-day yacht trip mixes beach time, lunch on the island and two snorkeling stops, and children are welcome to join.

This boat leaves from the marina in Hurghada, so the day starts with a pickup at your Makadi Bay hotel and a drive north to the marina, about 30 km away. The boat starts at about 08:00 every day, and the trip takes about 8 hours in total.

On Eden Island you have one hour on the sandy beach, with turquoise water for swimming. Your access to the island is included, and lunch is also served here.

Back on the yacht, two snorkeling stops at coral reefs are waiting. You will see colorful fish over the coral, and the gear is provided. The stops are fine for beginners as well as experienced snorkelers.

During the day you get water, soft drinks, coffee and tea, and a professional crew with safety equipment looks after the group. Please plan for underwater photos, beach towels, sunscreen and personal expenses yourself.

After the last stop, the yacht heads back to the marina, and we drive you to your hotel in Makadi Bay.

Good to know: carry your passport or a copy for a possible check at the port, plus swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Beach shoes help on the island, and there are life jackets for children.
