Panorama Semi-Submarine in Makadi Bay – Sahl Hasheesh

Want to see the coral of the Red Sea and stay completely dry? For guests in Sahl Hasheesh, the Panorama semi-submarine is one of the easiest ways to do it. Big windows sit below the water line, so reefs and fish pass right in front of you. Families, small children and non-swimmers love it.

The boat sails in Makadi Bay, the resort area just south of Sahl Hasheesh. We pick you up at your hotel, drive you to the boat and bring you back afterwards. The trip runs every day and starts at about 10:00.

Once aboard, take a seat in the air-conditioned viewing deck under the surface. Colorful fish and reef shapes drift past the glass. The Panorama is not a true submarine: the lower deck is under the water, but the boat itself never dives.

When you want sun and fresh sea air, climb to the upper deck and look out over the clear water of Makadi Bay. A professional crew looks after you the whole time, and life jackets are on board.

You can buy photos or videos if you like, and personal expenses are not included. Swimwear is not needed, because nobody gets wet on this trip.
