Ozirea Island Boat Trip – Safaga

Ozirea is one of the newest island stops on the Red Sea, and this shared day out brings it within reach of your hotel in Safaga. Expect an easy, unhurried day: a cruise, a reef where a guide leads the snorkeling, and sun loungers on the sand. Children may join if they remain with their parents.

Safaga lies about 53 km south of Hurghada. Boats for Ozirea set off from the marina in Hurghada, so a driver comes to your Safaga hotel, delivers you to the boat and returns you when the outing is over. Things get going at about 09:00 and the trip runs for about 8 hours; on some days the timetable shifts slightly.

At the reef stop, a guide takes snorkelers into the water, using gear from the boat. Look out for bright coral and fish below you. Whether this stop goes ahead depends on the wind and waves that day.

Pick between two versions. The basic Ozirea Island Day covers the cruise, the guided snorkel and lounger time, but no meal or drinks. The version with Lunch & Pool also gives you a buffet lunch with water and soft drinks, plus a dip in the island's infinity pool.

Anything extra to eat or drink, photos, videos, tips and personal spending are on you.
