Super Desert Safari: Quad, Buggy, Jeep & Dinner – El Gouna

If you only have time for one desert trip during your stay in El Gouna, this super safari packs in a lot: quad biking, a buggy ride, a Jeep trip, a camel ride and a BBQ dinner with an Oriental show.

An air-conditioned car collects you in El Gouna and heads to the safari station. Departures are daily at about 13:00; with transfers, you are out for about 6 to 7 hours.

Once you have your safety gear and briefing, the fun begins on a quad bike over golden sand. Then you swap to a dune buggy. After that, a 4x4 Jeep carries you further out to a traditional Bedouin village, and a professional safari guide stays with the group all the way.

In the village, ride a camel, drink Bedouin tea and get a taste of Bedouin life. Dinner is a desert BBQ in the evening, with an Oriental show afterwards. One bottle of water and one soft drink come with the trip.

Photos, extra drinks, tips, the scarf and goggles are not part of the package. For the quad, you can ride solo on a single quad, or share a double quad between two guests, a good fit for 1 adult riding with 1 child.

Good to know: have a passport or photo ID with you, wear closed shoes, and pack sunscreen, sunglasses, a scarf and, in winter, a light jacket.
