Hammam culture goes back hundreds of years and rests on warmth, steam and deep cleansing. The spa opens daily, with any time between 08:00 and 22:00 to choose from. Allow about 3 hours there. Pickup at your Safaga hotel and the ride back are part of the booking.

Step one: the sauna and steam room. Step two: the full Turkish bath, meaning a full body peeling, a foam bath and a soap massage. Your skin also gets a coffee or coconut body scrub and a Dead Sea salt scrub for hands and feet.

Step three is pure rest in the salt cave and the jacuzzi, with fresh fruit and soft drinks served. A chocolate or milk face mask feeds your skin, and the 45-minute full body massage brings the ritual to an end.

Fruit and soft drinks come with the visit, so you can take breaks between treatments. Aromatic oils are not part of the package.
