Panorama Semi-Submarine in Makadi Bay – El Gouna

Want to see a Red Sea coral reef without putting on a mask? From El Gouna, this trip takes you to Makadi Bay to board the Panorama semi-submarine, a boat with big windows below the water line. Children, families and guests who do not swim can all enjoy it.

Makadi Bay lies on the coast south of Hurghada, so the day starts with a drive. We collect you at your hotel in El Gouna, take you to Makadi Bay and bring you back afterwards. The boat runs daily and starts at about 10:00.

Once on board, head down to the underwater viewing deck. It is air-conditioned and has wide panoramic windows, so reef fish and coral formations pass right in front of you while you sit in comfort.

The Panorama never dives. Only the viewing deck sits below the surface, so you stay dry the whole time. For fresh air and a view over the clear water of the bay, climb to the upper deck. A professional crew looks after you, and life jackets are on board.

Photos or videos can be bought on the day if you want them. Personal expenses are not included.
